Taller Marmo represents a case study in entrepreneurial intuition translated into sustained design practice. Founded in 2012 by Riccardo Audisio and Yago Goicoechea, the label emerged not from institutional training or industry apprenticeship, but from an instinctive engagement with spectacle, excess, and historical glamour.

Conceived while the founders were still students, their early kaftans referenced a lineage of cinematic opulence, recalling figures such as Elizabeth Taylor, while deliberately resisting prevailing norms of restraint. Lacking formal business education or professional experience, Audisio and Goicoechea compensated through persistence and a singular aesthetic commitment.

Taller Marmo derives its name from the Spanish word for ‘laboratory’ and the Italian word for ‘marble’ - a reflection of the designers' focus on innovative techniques and luxury fabrics. The brand embodies a modern, yet spirited approach to eveningwear, offering elegant dresses and kaftans that’ll make every woman feel her best. The designers have often articularted that the brand is premised on a garment’s capacity to traverse age, geography, and codes of modesty or sensuality.

We think about how the 20-year-old and the 60-year-old will experience the same dress—how a modest dresser or someone who wants to dress sexy might style the same minidress anywhere from Riyadh to Los Angeles.

The Challenge

Taller Marmo required a digital platform capable of translating its distinctive, maximalist aesthetic into a refined online experience that would support commercial growth. The existing digital presence lacked the structural clarity, scalability, and performance required for global ecommerce. The challenge lay in balancing visual impact with usability, ensuring the brand’s expressive identity did not compromise navigation, conversion, or operational efficiency across international markets.

We designed and built a bespoke website that foregrounded Taller Marmo’s visual language while embedding a robust ecommerce framework beneath it. Alongside launch, we provided ongoing ecommerce consultancy, advising on merchandising strategy, user journeys, data-led optimisation, and international best practice. This dual approach ensured the site functioned not only as a brand statement, but as a flexible commercial tool capable of evolving in step with the business and its expanding global audience.
