Keeping momentum in an accelerated launch

RUS is part of a global movement that believes in selecting rather than accumulating, producing garments meant to last and be rediscovered season after season.

Following a very successful pre-launch, garnering the sisters’ strong influence on social media, the sisters approached the Barn with the idea to expedite the launch of their DTC platform ahead of their wholesale presentation.

Experienced e-commerce leadership for new businesses

When RUS approached us, their original catalogue website was built on Squarespace. We felt Shopify provided a better business solution, more suited to launching the new brand, able to easily incorporate all logistical requirements, and ready to scale with their fast-growing audiences. We migrated Rus over to the Shopify platform ensuring they were ready to trade smoothly from launch.

Fluid editorial design

We designed a fully custom theme with a versatile page design to support responsive merchandising and changing product stories. This included a fluid product description and gallery page designs to give a highly editorial feel in keeping with the brand’s high-fashion image.
